In-Network

Insurance & Reimbursement

In-Network

I am currently in-network with Medicare.

Out-of-Network

While I am not in-network with most insurance plans, many clients are able to utilize out-of-network (OON) benefits to cover a significant portion of their sessions. This means you pay for the session upfront, and I provide you with a monthly document called a 'superbill' that you can submit to your insurance company for direct reimbursement depending on your plan and deductible. I witness clients receiving 40-60% in return. I recommend calling your provider before our first session to understand exactly what your plan covers for out-of-network outpatient behavioral health services.

Questions to Ask Your Insurance:

  • Does my plan include out-of-network benefits for mental health (CPT codes 90834 or 90847)?
  • Do I have an out-of-network deductible that must be met first?
  • What is the reimbursement rate or percentage for an out-of-network provider?
  • Is there a limit on the number of sessions covered per year?

Common Questions

Do you offer a sliding scale?

Yes, I maintain a limited number of sliding scale spots to make therapeutic support more accessible. If the standard fee feels prohibitive, please let me know during our initial consultation so we can discuss availability and options that feel sustainable for you.

Can I use my HSA/FSA?

Absolutely. Therapyare eligible health expenses. You can use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) card to pay for sessions directly, which allows you to use pre-tax dollars for your care.

What if I need to pause therapy?

Therapy is a dynamic process, and I am here to support your journey. If you need to pause for any reason, we can discuss a plan for closure or a break. I simply ask for open communication so we can process the transition in a way that feels supportive and clear.

Do you offer packages or retreats?

Yes. For specialized work like Ketamine-Assisted Therapy, psychedelic prep and integration intensives, EMDR intensives, Couples Intensives , we can discuss structured formats that meet those deeper needs during our initial conversations. Additionally,  I offer couple retreats and psychedelic retreats to Peru which you can find more information on those pages.
